I am a maths education expert with a specialism in statistics education. I was a secondary maths teacher in England for 10 years, before leaving the classroom in 2014. I have experience in assessment specification design and was involved in the reform of GCSE and A-level mathematics qualifications, and the development of Core mathematics qualifications. I have also been part of several international curriculum design projects and currently work at Cambridge Mathematics supporting development of the Cambridge Mathematics Framework.
I am experienced in education policy, curriculum design, resource design, professional learning design, and assessment design. I am currently conducting PhD research at the University of Cambridge titled “Neoliberal barriers to reform in statistics education: How can assessment support progress?”.
